The Turkmen State Publishing Service, on the recommendation of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, has issued textbooks for high school students of secondary schools in the country.
Among the new editions is the textbook "The Turkmen language" for 11th grade students, prepared by the authors N.Garaev, Y.Ballyev, B.Baijanov, G.Sakharova and N.Movlamova. The textbook is developed on the basis of the basic didactic principles of teaching and learning, taking into account age characteristics students.
The textbook presents widely the functional styles of the Turkmen language, its features, literary and orthoepical norms related to the pronunciation of long and short syllables, consonants.
The textbook also examines the phonetic means of language, the rules of intonation, verbal and logical stress, and spelling norms. For ease of use and better assimilation of materials, the textbook contains a spelling dictionary.
The textbook, intended for high school students, will contribute to the development of oral skills, correct pronunciation, application of grammatical and spelling rules in the modern Turkmen literary language.
The textbook "World History", authored by J. P. Morgan, has also been published for students of the XI grade of secondary schools J.Khatamov and J.Gurbangeldiyev.
The textbook describes the events of the world history of the XX -XXI centuries, in particular, the period from 1946 to 2000. In the book tells about the restoration of states after the Second World War, the political systems of the countries of the world, the history of international relations, the peculiarities of the political, economic and cultural development of individual countries and their contribution to the development of society.
The textbook focuses on the events of the late 20th century, describing the changes that took place during this period, related to the independence of the states that were part of the the USSR. The book contains interesting materials on the foreign policy of the countries of the world, the development of relations with independent Turkmenistan, which were formed on the basis of the principles of the international legal status of permanent neutrality of our country. The textbook includes materials on the 20th century, as a historical period of large-scale development of science and technology in the world. The book includes information about the bright discoveries of scientists, as a result of which significant progress has been achieved in the development of advanced technologies, communication systems, space exploration and the Internet. The textbook also contains additional background information, diagrams, and tables that will help students learn the materials on each topic on their own. To help students, the textbook contains photographs and maps, biographies of politicians, statesmen, and other useful information. Another new edition designed for the 12th grade of secondary school textbook "French (the first foreign language)" by T.Atdaeva, M.Amanova and G.Amanova.
The textbook has been prepared in accordance with the educational program and includes the following thematic sections: "My family", "My everyday life", "Me and society", "My Homeland", "Me and nature", "Me and culture", "Journey". The textbook contains interesting materials about the country of the language being studied, its traditions, historical and cultural heritage, as well as the modern development of France. The thematic materials are supported by colorful illustrations, which adds value to this tutorial. The textbook is designed to promote the development of reading, writing, understanding and expressing personal opinions in French, as well as the study of the interrelationship of cultures and traditions in the international sphere.
The textbook materials will allow students in their final year of high school to repeat, improve and significantly consolidate their previously acquired knowledge, as well as expand the worldview of schoolchildren and achieve positive results through linguistic and foreign studies training.
