The Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan invites high school students of the country to take part in the III integrated Olympiad “Talented Descendants of Oguz Han”.
The Olympiad is held among students of grades 9-11 of secondary schools of Turkmenistan in five areas: logical thinking, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology. The Olympiad will be held in 3 stages - at the etrap, velayat and state levels.
Each school may participate in the Olympiad with 5 students. The list of students wishing to participate must be provided to the organizers by e-mail oguzzehin@gmail.com before February 25.
The first stage of the competition will be held from March 10 to 15, the second will be held on April 8. In June-July of this year, the state stage of the Olympiad will be held in Ashgabat, to which the best participants who showed high results in the first and second stages will be invited.
During the summer holidays, the Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan will organize a rich program of events for the finalists. It will include sports competitions, excursions to the sights of Ashgabat and Arkadag. University professors will conduct classes for schoolchildren and introduce them to the scientific projects of students and lecturers of the university.
The winners and prize-winners of the III integrated Olympiad “Talented Descendants of Oguz Han” will be awarded diplomas and valuable gifts from the university, as well as letters of recommendation for admission to higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan and foreign countries.

The integrated Olympiad is held in accordance with the plan for the implementation of the Concept for improving the teaching of natural and exact sciences in Turkmenistan, as well as with the aim of strengthening ties between higher and secondary educational institutions of the country, stimulating students' interest in studying science, identifying erudite, talented, active youth capable of successfully applying innovative technologies, thinking broadly and independently solving assigned tasks.
