Just over a year ago, at the conclusion of the latest International Circus Festival in Monte Carlo, Principality of Monaco, it was announced that the Turkmen equestrian group "Galkynysh" was invited to participate in the next festival (January 2025). The joy of Turkmenistan's people knew no bounds. These feelings were mixed with pride for their master riders, who had by then become renowned not only in the region but worldwide. It is worth recalling that during the previous festival (2024), television commentators, while discussing the performances of outstanding masters of world circus art, noted with some sadness that equestrian acts had been absent from Monte Carlo festivals in recent years. Now, the invitation to the global circus celebration for the "Galkynysh" equestrian group signified that Turkmen masters were recognized on the world stage.

Created in 2007 on the initiative of Hero-Arkadag, a group of enthusiasts of equestrian circus art achieved great success in a short time. This is no coincidence. Breeding horses that amaze everyone with their beauty and endurance requires hard work, knowledge, love and talent. Our ancestors diligently worked in this field. A vivid example of this is the remarkable Akhal-Teke breed of "winged" horses. Today, even more attention is being paid to this direction. An international Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding Association has been established with headquarters in Ashgabat. International-level equestrian complexes have been built, providing optimal conditions for horse breeders to organize their work. Particular attention is also given to training qualified personnel for the horse breeding industry. Furthermore, honorary titles such as "Türkmenistanyň at gazanan atşynasy", "Türkmenistanyň ussat halypa çapyksuwary" and "Türkmenistanyň halk atşynasy" have been instituted.

Additionally, the city of Arkadag, which has received numerous international certificates for its implementation of innovative technologies, attaches great importance to using depictions of "heavenly" horses in architectural decoration. The monument to Akhal-Teke horse Akhan, erected in this "smart" city, symbolizes the present and future development of Arkadag with the swiftness of a racehorse.

Today, the popularity of the National Equestrian Games Group "Galkynysh," a Grand Prix winner at prestigious international festivals and competitions, is steadily growing. Their performances add a special flavor to circus programs and festive celebrations: skillfully executing complex tricks and showcasing stunning games on galloping Akhal-Teke horses, members of the group demonstrate true mastery. Their spectacular acts amaze audiences worldwide today. The "Galkynysh" group has won five main prizes at international festivals held across different parts of the world. Their brilliant victory at the 47th International Circus Festival of Monte Carlo has significantly enhanced the fame of these swift Akhal-Teke horses.

Upon their return with victory from the festival in Monaco, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated Turkmenistan's remarkable riders on receiving the festival's Grand Prize in Monte Carlo and noted that this award came during the first month of the International Year of Peace and Trust. At celebrations held in Arkadag city during a ceremonial event, monetary prizes were presented to the "Galkynysh" group on behalf of the Chairman of Halk Maslahaty and the head of state. Additionally, a Presidential Decree by Serdar Berdimuhamedov was announced conferring the honorary title "Türkmenistanyň at gazanan atşynasy" upon Serdar Pygyyev, head trainer and leader of the group.
