Construction of the country's first higher education institution continues at a high pace in the western part of the capital along Gerogly Street.

The Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan. With the laying of the foundation of the new university, which took place in July 2022, a reliable foundation was laid for the promotion of Turkmen entrepreneurship to a new level of development.

Higher Educational institution of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Turkmenistan is scheduled to be commissioned this year President Serdar Berdimuhamedov announced on February 7 during an expanded meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.

The construction of the university is carried out by specialists of the individual enterprise "Nur bina gurluşyk". 

The multifunctional campus is designed for 2,700 students. The structure of the higher school includes six faculties, as well as facilities such as a library, a conference room, a dining room, 2 student dormitories, sports fields and a parking area.

The commissioning of the higher educational institution of the UIET will open a new a page in the history of Russian entrepreneurship. The new university will be the first higher education institution of its kind in the country, a forge of high-level specialized specialists. The university will provide in-depth and systematic training of highly qualified personnel in the field of entrepreneurship and business, new generation professionals designed to make a worthy contribution to the innovative development and economic growth of Turkmenistan.

The construction of the student campus is carried out within the framework of the Program of Socio-economic Development of Turkmenistan and Investments in 2025.

Today, the training of young people with promising business ideas and the desire to implement them is conducted in various business schools the School of Entrepreneurs of the UIET, as well as on the basis of its branches in Ashgabat and the velayats of the country.

The spheres of small and medium-sized businesses in our country have significant and constantly growing potential. Turkmen entrepreneurs annually increase the production of agricultural and food products, dynamically and successfully develop activities in the field of construction and production of building materials and many other areas.

The state provides financial and legal support to Turkmen entrepreneurs, and the share of the business sector in the country's economy is steadily increasing. At the same time, conditions for growth are being created the contribution of entrepreneurship to the development of the economy, the country's trade turnover and employment, the promotion of small and medium-sized businesses Turkmenistan in the international market.

Comprehensive development of the business sector, increasing the role of the private sector through the widespread introduction of modern market mechanisms is one of the priorities of socio-economic policy in Turkmenistan.
