The third victory was won by the “Arkadag” football players at the ongoing Football Federation Cup of Turkmenistan in Akhal Velayat.

After defeating the Balkanabat’s "Nebitchi" in the first round – 4:1 and success in the match with the silver medalist of last year's national championship "Akhal" – 3:2, Vladimir Bayramov's team defeated the Turkmenbashi’s "Shagadam" – 6:2. The best scorer of the last three championships of Turkmenistan, Didar Durdiev (16-I and 51 minutes) and Shanazar Tirkishov (35th and 43rd) and Begench Akmamedov (57th) and Resul Khodjaev (63rd) scored once each. Rovshan Bayliev (38th) and Nurjan Dzhaparov (89th) scored goals for Shagadam.

After this victory, “Arkadag” scored 9 points, continuing to lead confidently in the fight for the honorary trophy.

“Akhal” is 3 points behind the leader, which outplayed the Balkanabat’s “Nebitchi” in the third round - 3:0 thanks to the bucket of Gurbanmukhamed Esenov (32nd and 57th minutes) and the goal of Nurtagan Sariev (70th). It should be noted that the “Nebitchi” finished the game in the minority due to removal for two yellow cards of Ashirgeldy Sariev (47th).

“Ashgabat” rose to the third place of the standings with 4 points after defeating “Merv” 2-0. Goals from Byashim Gurbanberdiyev (55th) and Silap Goshshanov (90+3) brought victory to the capital club. “Merv” has 4 points left after the defeat. “Shagadam” and “Nebitchi” complete the standings with 1 point.
