The first trophy of 2025 – the Turkmenistan Football Federation Cup – was claimed by the footballers of "Arkadag". Vladimir Bayramov’s wards achieved this success ahead of schedule, one round before the end of the tournament, with a confident 3-0 victory over Mary’s "Merv".

The scoring was opened in the 5th minute by Didar Durdyyev, the top scorer of the last three Turkmenistan championships. In the 49th minute, Shamamet Hydyrov consolidated the success of the two-time champion of Turkmenistan. The victory was sealed in the 72nd minute by Resul Hojayev.

With 12 points out of a possible 12, "Arkadag" became unreachable for its competitors.

The vice-champion of Turkmenistan, "Ahal", trails the leader by 3 points after defeating Turkmenbashi’s "Shagadam" 1-0. The winning goal was scored in the 64th minute by Elman Tagayev. "Ahal" finished the game with ten players after Gurbanmukhammet Esenov was sent off in the 85th minute for receiving two yellow cards. However, "Shagadam" was unable to take advantage of their numerical superiority.

"Ashgabat", "Nebitchi" and "Merv" are competing for third place, each having 4 points. This situation arose after "Nebitchi" secured their first victory in the tournament with a narrow 1-0 win over "Ashgabat".

The decisive goal was scored in the 66th minute by Myrat Amantaganov. Interestingly, ten minutes earlier, "Nebitchi" had been awarded a penalty, but Arslangylych Nazgylyjov failed to convert the spot kick.

"Shagadam" is at the bottom of the standings with just one point.

The matches of the final, fifth round of the TFF Cup-2025 will take place on February 23. The day will begin with the Balkan derby between "Shagadam" and "Nebitchi." Following this, "Merv" will face "Ahal." The tournament will conclude with a match between "Ashgabat" and "Arkadag."
