Delegation of the University of Engineering and Technology Turkmenistan named after Oguz Khan as a member of the faculty Atamyrat Altiyev, 3rd year student of Suleymanmukhammet Shamukhammedov and 2nd year student Aimyrat Khalnazarov participate in the V International Youth Science Fair (YISF), which takes place in the city of Malang, Indonesia from 21 to 25 February.

The major international event brought together talented and promising youth representatives - 446 teams from 24 countries. At the YISF site, young scientists demonstrate their scientific work in five areas, including social sciences, environment, vital activity, innovative sciences and engineering.

The team from Turkmenistan presented the development at the fair "Scientific foundations of obtaining green cement from industrial waste". The presentation of Turkmen young scientists introduced participants from different countries to innovative scientific work designed to help solve global challenges such as sustainable development, environmental protection and the development of new technologies. The International Youth Science Fair (YISF) is organized annually by the Association of Young Scientists of Indonesia (IYSA) in to promote the study and development of youth achievements in the field of science, technology and innovation at the international level.

On the sidelines of the event, innovative youth projects, their prospects, implementation opportunities and implementation in various fields, as well as an assessment of the scientific achievements of young scientists and engineers who can influence the future of science and technology. The International Fair annually becomes an effective platform for the presentation of scientific works by young people, the development of international relations and the strengthening of cooperation in the field of science, education and innovation.

The participation of representatives of Turkmenistan in this prestigious event is important for enriching activities of young scientists of the country, filling it with new content, as well as expanding cooperation with the countries of the world in this direction.

The results of the fair will be announced as part of a contest of scientific papers by participants, which is traditionally part of an international event. 

The award ceremony for the winners of the competition, the authors of the best scientific papers, will be held on February 24.
