Turkmenistan continues to recruit participants in the ICT Start-up: Innovative Technologies for Sustainable Development youth Innovation Project competition, announced by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan in cooperation with the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan.
The competition is held in order to identify talented young people who are striving to master entrepreneurial skills and create their own business, to encourage and support innovative activities and startup initiatives of young people, education of a purposeful generation with a broad outlook, able to skillfully apply modern technologies.
The objectives of the competition include creating conditions and opportunities for interaction and exchange of experience between entrepreneurs, businessmen working in the non-governmental sector of the economy and interested youth, developing entrepreneurial culture and improving the functioning of the startup ecosystem.
The competition is open to young people under the age of 30 who have entrepreneurial skills and are recommended by educational and scientific institutions. Students of higher and secondary vocational educational institutions, senior classes secondary schools, employees of scientific institutions of the country and other youth representatives can participate in the competition both individually and as part of teams.
The competition is held in seven categories: Artificial Intelligence; Robotics and Automation; Smart agricultural technologies; Smart City; Education and e-learning; Digital medicine; Service networks.
Participants should prepare a 5-10-page presentation of the project work, describing the essence of the project, its feasibility, significance and expected results. The finished presentation in PDF format must be sent by e-mail ictstartaptdei@gmail.com until April 15th. At the preliminary stage of the competition, participants will present oral reports, as well as introductory video presentations or thematic video materials about their projects.
Each project proposed by the participants should belong to one of the following project categories: creation of a small business; procurement projects; large-scale projects; creative or social projects.
The winners of the final round of the competition will be awarded with diplomas, letters of appreciation and certificates of honor from the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
