The first stage of the III integrated Olympiad "Talented Descendants of Oguz Khan", held by the Oguz Khan University of Engineering and Technology among the country's high school students, has started in Turkmenistan.
About 25,000 students of grades 9-12 of secondary schools from all over the world take part in the large-scale competition in Turkmenistan. The Olympiad is held in five directions: logical thinking, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology.
The intellectual competition is organized in 3 stages – at the Etrap, velayat and state levels. The first stage the Olympics will last until March 15, and the second one is scheduled for April 8.
The most talented students who have successfully completed the first and second stages will receive a ticket to the third and final stage of the Olympiad, which will be held during the summer holidays.
A rich program will be organized for the finalists of the competition, which will include sports competitions, interesting excursions, educational activities and other events.
The winners of the III integrated Olympiad "Talented Descendants of Oguz Khan" will be awarded diplomas and valuable gifts from the university, as well as letters of recommendation for admission to higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan and foreign countries.
In addition, the winners of the Olympiad will become part of the Golden Fund "Talented Descendants of Oguz Khan" of the Oguz Khan University of Engineering and Technology of Turkmenistan, whose members enjoy benefits upon admission to the university.
The integrated Olympiad "Talented Descendants of Oguz Khan" is one of the career-oriented projects of the capital University, which was launched in 2023.
About 42,000 high school students from Turkmenistan participated in the first and second Olympiads.
The winners of these Olympiads marked the beginning of the formation of the Golden Fund "Talented Descendants of Oguz Khan". Many of them are currently students at the Oguz Khan University of Engineering and Technology of Turkmenistan, as well as other universities in the country and abroad.
The Olympiad is held in order to identify the erudite, talented, active youth who are able to successfully apply innovative technologies, think broadly and solve tasks independently. The intellectual competition helps to stimulate and encourage students' interest in the study of sciences, strengthen ties between higher and secondary educational institutions in the country, as well as the successful implementation of the "Concept for Improving the teaching of natural and Exact Sciences in Turkmenistan."
