On March 10, 2025, the delegation of Turkmenistan, headed by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan, took part in the 68th session of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND), held at the UN Office in Vienna. About this reports MFA of Turkmenistan.

The issues of global drug policy, international cooperation and strategies to combat drug trafficking were discussed at the event.

The delegation of Turkmenistan reaffirmed the country’s commitment to strengthening international efforts to combat drug-related problems and promoting a balanced approach between law enforcement and public health measures.

It was emphasized that Turkmenistan takes an active part in regional and international initiatives aimed at combating drug trafficking and strengthening multilateral cooperation.

The delegation also participated in side events where they shared best practices with international colleagues and explored innovative approaches to strengthening global drug policy.
