Students from Turkmenistan are being sent to universities in Romania

As is well known, among the most pressing issues for Turkmenistan are the expansion of cooperation between educational institutions of the country and foreign states in terms of personnel training and conducting scientific research. The search for new forms of partnership in this important area will serve the benefit of further development and rapprochement of nations.

In this regard, the partnership between Turkmenistan and Romania is developing dynamically, as evidenced by meetings at various levels and the signing of important bilateral documents, including those aimed at establishing partnerships between scientific and educational centers.

Evidence of this is the dispatch of Turkmen youth to study at higher educational institutions in Romania for the 2025-2026 academic year, as reported by Vice Premier B. Orazdurdyeva at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held last week.

Turkmen youth will study in the universities of the friendly state in fields such as information technology, healthcare and medical sciences, education and pedagogical sciences, agriculture and agricultural sciences, engineering, technology and technical sciences, mathematics and natural sciences.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that broad opportunities are being created in our country for young Turkmenistan citizens to acquire knowledge in prestigious foreign higher educational institutions, which contributes to ensuring the national economy with highly qualified specialists. Approving the proposal to send youth to higher educational institutions in Romania, the head of state instructed the Vice Premier to carry out the relevant work.

Youth is rightfully recognized as the driving force of society, playing a key role in building a better future for the planet.

Indeed, highly educated young people with a modern worldview and knowledge will stand at the helm of the state in the future and lead our country to new heights of progress.
