President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received the reports from the hyakims of Ahal, Dashoguz, Lebap and Mary Velayats on successful fulfilment of contractual obligations for production of raw cotton as well as from the hyakim of Balkan Velayat on the delivery of planned volumes of fruit and vegetable production.
On behalf of the personnel of agricultural sphere, the heads of the regions congratulated the Head of the State on large work success of Turkmen farmers.
After, children – the messengers from the velayats, have entered the hall carrying sacks filled with snow-white cotton. The kids cordially congratulated Turkmen leader and performed the poems. Having expressed the children for congratulations and wishes, the Head of the State presented them with the gifts. Addressing the participants, the Head of the State noted that national agriculture is steadily developed together with other branches of national economy. The State makes all conditions for highly productive work of the farmers, generous harvests of wheat, cotton and other agricultural crops.
Hard work of the personnel of agricultural sphere provides the country with food abundance, the President of Turkmenistan continued, having made special mention of the work of national grain growers who deliver generous harvests of wheat every year and have completed the sowing of winter crops on time this autumn. This year, hard-working farmers fulfilled with honour contractual obligations on cotton harvesting.
