On the eve of International Nowruz Day, a concert by the Chamber Orchestra conducted by Nury Mukhiyev was held in the Grand Hall of the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kuliyeva. Considering that 2025 is designated as the "International Year of Peace and Trust," the program included works by Turkmen and international composers.

The concert opened with the piece "Melancholy" by Czech composer Eduard Napravník, with Nury Mukhiyev at the conductor's podium. The delicate and contemplative melody, through which the composer seemed to bid farewell to the winter season, was followed by the next piece—Concertino "Yylgaylar" by Bayram Khudaynazarov. The national Turkmen music provided a striking contrast to the Czech melody.

This feeling was further intensified with the orchestra's performance of "Destan-Concert No. 1" by Chary Nurymov. The vivid musical imagery and expressive depiction of extraordinary events completely captivated the audience in the concert hall. The soloists—Nepes Jumageldyev (flute) and Kuvvat Orazov (oboe)—performed under the baton of student conductor Kowus Byashimov. The audience warmly applauded the musicians in gratitude for the emotions they evoked.

And once again, a different culture and a different era were presented— Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. The Suite for Trombone and Orchestra from the opera "Eugene Onegin" was performed by international competition laureate Dovran Gylyjov.

The final piece of the program was once again Tchaikovsky. His Violin Concerto was performed by international competition laureate Aybelek Mukhiyeva. Nury Mukhiyev returned to the conductor's podium. Once again, Aybelek masterfully performed the intricate melodies, captivating the audience's attention.

All soloists came out to bow to the audience, who greeted them with prolonged applause. The public received a delightful emotional gift from the orchestra musicians and soloists in celebration of Nowruz.
