The creative team of the Magtymguly National Music and Drama Theater has prepared a concert titled "Novruz Has Come to Us" for their audience.
It should be noted that performances on the stage of this theater are particularly popular with the public. Audiences enjoy watching the actors' variety shows, and these performances are no less highly rated than the theater's plays.
For the actors, stepping onto the stage as pop vocalists is an opportunity to showcase their talent in the musical genre. The National Music and Drama Theater has no shortage of singing actors, which is no surprise given its status as a musical theater.
Novruz is a national holiday. With the arrival of spring, music of good cheer resonates in everyone's soul. The audience eagerly fills the theater hall to once again enjoy beautiful voices and humorous jokes. The concert program "Novruz Has Come to Us" opened with Halbike Dovyeva's performance of the song "Uz eýlär." Her colleague Batyr Khojagulyev followed with a rendition of "Novruz."
The concert also included patriotic themes. Nargiza Khalyeva performed the song "Motherland Turkmenistan." This theme was continued by Honored Artist of Turkmenistan Tirkesh Matnazarov. As soon as the concert host announced his name, the hall erupted in applause—his enchanting bass voice is well-known to the audience. Tirkesh performed the song "Turkmen Sakhrasy," once again earning thunderous applause from the crowd.
On this day, songs and jokes were also presented by Annamyrat Saparov, Oguljan Meretdurdyeva, Perkhat Ibragimov, and other theater actors.
Television channel operators recorded the actors' performances for broadcast to TV audiences.
