The shooting of the new feature film “Gyz Kasamy” (“Girl's Oath”) turned into an active phase.
The director of the film, Sahysalykh Bayramov, based the plot on real stories from the lives of Turkmen women who were waiting for their loved ones from the fronts of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
The film tells about the heroic home front workers. In the center of the plot is the fate of a rural girl H. Khudaiberdieva, who became the prototype of the main character. To convey the atmosphere and spirit of the past, the film crew visited Kerki, Sayat and Khalach.
Since most of the shooting takes place in Lebap velayat, artists from the Seyitnazar Seydi State Musical and Drama Theater are involved in the creative process. The main role is played by Aina Rozieva, an actress of the Lebap Theater. In addition, students of the Turkmen State Institute of Culture had the opportunity to show their talents.
The "Turkmenfilm" Association named after Oguzkhan will present the premiere of a film dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War in May this year.
