The III final stage was held at the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages on March 19-20. The State competition in foreign languages among students of educational institutions of various forms of ownership, organizing short-term courses.
The competition, announced by the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, is organized in order to assess the level of training of young people studying foreign languages, encourage young talents, and unleash creative development of independent work skills and improvement of the quality of foreign language teaching.
The English and Russian language competition was held in three stages for 4 age groups: among students aged 12-13, 14-15, 16-18 and over 16 years old. In the final of the competition, 203 students from the country's educational centers who successfully completed the first and second stages of the competition demonstrated their knowledge and talents. There are 35 students from Ashgabat and Akhal Velayat, 31 from Balkan Velayat, 47 from Dashoguz Velayat, 42 from Lebap Velayat, 48 from Mary Velayat.
According to the results of the final stage, seven winners and prize–winners were determined in each age group: 28 best experts in English and 28 in Russian. Among them are students of the training centers “Zehin ýoly”, “Belent Bilim”, “Bilim nokady”, “Zehinli nesil”, “Dana bilim merkezi”, “Altyn göreç”, “Merdem ýaşlar” and others.
The winners and prize-winners of the competition were awarded with diplomas of relevant degrees and gifts from the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
Letters of appreciation were presented to representatives of the organizing committee, the judging and supervisory boards of the competition, who took an active part in conducting the competition at a high level.
The state competition in foreign languages among students of educational institutions of the country of various forms of ownership, organizing short-term courses, is successfully and effectively conducted under the auspices of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan for the third year in a row.
The competition is gaining popularity and annually unites young talents who are passionate about learning foreign languages, teachers, representatives of educational centers from all over Turkmenistan.
