In accordance with the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan "On planting trees in Turkmenistan in 2025", in the cities and villages of the Lebap velayat, as in all corners of the country, a nationwide greening campaign was held.

The main tree planting events took place along the Turkmenabat -Mary road, not far from the velayat multi-profile market, where about 4 thousand seedlings of various trees were planted with the participation of citizens of various professions and student youth.

The greening campaign, carried out in order to implement the initiative of the President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to turn our country into a blooming garden, as well as to implement the "National Forestry Programme of Turkmenistan for 2021-2025", covered all etraps of the velayat. As a result of enthusiastic and friendly work, more than 44 thousand seedlings were planted throughout the velayat, more than 19,900 of which were mulberry trees, 8,200 were fruit trees and grape vines, and the rest were deciduous trees.

Performances by cultural workers and artists, the organization of exhibitions of garden plants, flowers and agricultural implements gave this important event a special solemnity. Planting seedlings in specially selected and prepared areas in accordance with agricultural technology requirements helps transform these places into beautiful blooming gardens.
