Eleven drivers from three organizations across the country competed for the Turkmenistan Rally-Raid Cup over two days. The event was timed to coincide with the National Spring Holiday, celebrated on March 21-22. The Automobile Sports Federation and the Police Departments under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan each fielded five athletes, while the "Turkmenavtoulaglary" Agency was represented by one.

The 143-kilometer route was set in the Garagum Desert, specifically within the Baherden etrap of Ahal velayat. Participants covered 33 km on the first day and 110 km on the second.

Maksatmyrat Danatarov, driving a Nissan Patrol for the Automobile Sports Federation, emerged as the winner of the Turkmenistan Cup. His teammate Meylis Avdyllaev, also in a Nissan Patrol, secured second place. Yolaman Abaev, another competitor from the Turkmenistan Automobile Sports Federation, rounded out the top three in a Mitsubishi L200.

It is worth noting that three months prior, at the Turkmenistan Rally-Raid Championship held in honor of Neutrality Day, Maksatmyrat Danatarov and Meylis Avdyllaev finished second and third, respectively, in the SUV class. Yolaman Abaev earned a bronze medal in the open class.
