President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular vide conference session with participation of the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers supervising Ashgabat, hyakims of the velayats and the capital. Important issues related to seasonal works in agricultural complex as well as realization of reform programmes in the regions and the capital have been reviewed at the session.
First, the Head of the State called Vice-premier D. Amangeldiyev and Hyakim of Ashgabat Sh. Durdiliyev.
Reporting on the situation in the spheres under supervision, the Deputy Charmin of the Cabinet of Ministers has informed on realization of the Concept of the development of the main city of the country that stipulates the formation of modern integrated infrastructure and optimal comfort conditions for the people.
The Hyakim of Ashgabat has reported on course of works for further urban planning of Turkmen capital taking into account aesthetic and ecological aspects, measures for modernization of urban engineering, technical, transport and communication networks, making of green zones and provision of uninterrupted operation of all systems of life support and cleanness of Ashgabat. Information on the activity of municipal services has been presented under this context.
Having pointed the attention at the utmost issues of steady implementation of the concept of the capital development, Head of the State Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that prescient long-term approach is required there. It is necessary to consider the fact that Ashgabat is constantly growing and expanding its borders turning into modern megalopolis, which in its turn requires modern innovative solutions during project planning and development of new living estates, roads, construction of social and cultural facilities and formation of urban infrastructure in general, the President said. In this regard, the Vice-premier and Hyakim of the capital have received relative instructions.
The Vice-premier and the head of city administration have also presented the project of the monument of the great poet and thinker Magtumguly Fragi for review by the Head of the State.
Having studied the project, the President of Turkmenistan made some comments and proposals, having noted the importance of thorough thinking of every detail related to the embodiment of the image of Magtumguly Fragi, the famous son of Turkmen nation, whose poetic works are in the treasury of national and universal culture. Speaking of this, the Head of the State Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted that the monument of prominent master of word and philosophical thought has to embody his creative and patriotic spirit.
After, the projects of the monuments representing the image of hospitable and charming Vepaly the alabay, the symbol of V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games have been presented to the attention of the Head of the State.
Having made relative corrections in the projects and dwelt at the sculptural image of Vepaly, the Head of the State noted that this is to become an original symbol of impressive achievements of the country including V Asian Games held in Ashgabat in September with the great triumph and improved the image of the country as a sport state.
Speaking of the project of the monument of four-legged friend and helpmate of Turkmen people, the alabay, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted that this unique breed of dogs that kept its pedigree and ancient genotype can be easily referred to as national heritage of our nation. Having outstanding fighting and watch features, brave and smart alabays are friendly and loyal to the owners. Being very popular and loved by Turkmen people, they are the members of the family. That is why the alabay was chosen as the symbol of Ashgabat 2017 Games, the Head of the State noted.
In this regard, the President of Turkmenistan requested to improve the presented projects of the monuments.
After, the hyakims of the velayats reported on the situation in the regions, current agro technical activities and on preparation to the Harvest Holiday, which is to be observed on the second Sunday of November.
Having listened to the reports, head of the State Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted the necessity of permanent control of seasonal agricultural works and all relative issues including those related to the provision of the farmers with mineral fertilizers and timely payments for delivered products. The importance of wide implementation modern management practices and scientific approach to organization of all works has been highlighted.
Having noted the importance of the measures for picking of remained cotton without any loss as well as timely preparation of agricultural equipment to new season, the Head of Turkmenistan gave number of specific instructions to the hyakims.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov focused the attention of the heads of the regions at realization of National reform programme, which is aimed at systematic improvement of social and living conditions of the population, level of life quality in rural areas, strict control of construction works as well as at the provision of high organizational level of the events timed to the Harvest Holiday.
Summing up the conversation, the Head of the State noted that successful implementation of large-scale programmes in the capital and the regions would support further consolidation of economic power of the country and the growth of the prosperity of Turkmenistan citizens.
