With coming of warm spring days in the Dashoguz velayat, the work has intensified efforts to bring the road infrastructure into line with modern requirements.
Thus, specialists from the Department for the Operation of Highways are reconstructing several highways in the region's etraps at once. After preliminary work, sections of roads leading to the daykhan associations "10 yyl Abadanlyk" and "Zahmetkesh" in the Boldumsaz etrap are fully prepared for laying asphalt. The length of each section is one kilometer two hundred meters. The Dashoguz-Andalyp-Akdepe-Koneurgench road, five hundred meters long, is also being updated. The laying of new asphalt has already begun here.
In recent years, due to the consistent implementation of state large-scale measures to develop road transport infrastructure, all necessary conditions are being created in the velayat to expand and maintain transport arteries at the proper level, which, in turn, contributes to an increase in the volume of freight and passenger transportation.
New residential areas and settlements such as, for example, the modern urban-type settlement being built on the territory of the "Taze Yol" gengeshlik of the Koneurgench etrap are provided with a full-fledged road and transport infrastructure.
