During a working visit to Turkmenistan, a delegation headed by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Energy of Romania Pavel-Kasian Nitulescu held a meeting with the management and specialists of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University.
The rector of the university acquainted the guests with the structure of the university, its faculties and departments, areas of training specialists, research and project work, achievements, and also informed about cooperation with specialized universities abroad in the field of science and education, in particular with the University of Oil and Gas of Ploiesti in Romania and Romanian companies. The guests were shown a short video about the oil and gas university of Turkmenistan.
Next, the head of the Romanian delegation, Pavel-Kasian Nitulescu introduced the members of the delegation and spoke about the goals of the working visit to Turkmenistan, and also noted the readiness of Romanian universities and companies for a partnership that is of interest to both parties.
During the dialogue, a number of issues of cooperation in the chemical and petrochemical industries were discussed with a representative of the Romanian company "CHEMCOMPLEX", and proposals for the production of products in these areas were prepared.
At the end of the meeting, the Romanian delegation visited the laboratories, research and educational centers of the university, as well as the geological museum of the Turkmen university.
On April 1, the rector of the university took part in the eighth meeting of the Turkmen-Romanian working group, which took place in the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan under the chairmanship of the State Secretary of the Ministry of Energy of Romania Pavel-Kasian Nitulescu.
