The Turkmen delegation, which included representatives of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, took part in the Technical Consultation Meeting on the Development Strategy for Corridor 2 of the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC), which is important for improving connectivity between Asia and Europe, held recently in Baku. 

The meeting discussed issues related to the activities of Organisation, heard reports on the work carried out and the results achieved. 

The plans within the framework of the CAREC Transport Strategy 2030 were also reviewed. The purpose of the meeting is to bring together representatives of relevant ministries, industry experts and partners to discuss issues, find solutions and develop actions to develop CAREC Corridor 2 and, more broadly, to promote the overall economic and transport development of corridors in the CAREC region.
