The Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and the University of Tsukuba of Japan signed a Memorandum of Understanding

Today, a signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding on joint scientific research in the field of hydrogen energy between the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan and the University of Tsukuba of Japan took place in a digital video conference format. 

The main goal of the memorandum is to conduct joint scientific research in the promising and relevant field of hydrogen energy, as well as the development of environmentally friendly and sustainable energy technologies. 

During the ceremony, the Minister of Education of Turkmenistan Jumamyrat Gurbangeldiyev and the President of the University of Tsukuba, Professor Kyosuke Nagata spoke, emphasising that cooperation in the field of education, science and technology is of great importance for both countries.

The event was attended by Professor Osamu Oneda, Vice President for International Relations at the University of Tsukuba, and Professor Toshinobu Usuyama, Executive Director and Dean of the Japanese Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences.

The new document has become another important stage in the development of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Japan in the field of science and education. The signed memorandum will contribute to the expansion of bilateral cooperation, open up additional opportunities for the development of international scientific ties and the acquisition of valuable experience by young researchers and students. In addition, the results of joint research in the field of hydrogen energy will make a significant contribution to sustainable development at the global level.

This event is also of particular importance for the successful implementation of the state's tasks to improve and modernise the national education system and bring it up to world standards.
