The famous “Galkynysh” National Equestrian Games Group, artists from the State Equestrian Circus named after Gorogly of the city of Arkadag and the State Circus of Turkmenistan are on tour in the Dashoguz velayat. The meeting of the masters of art who arrived in the northern region of the country turned into a real celebration with songs and music, a theatrical performance based on the epic "Gorogly".
Today, circus art in Turkmenistan has reached a new level. Evidence of this are the successful performances of Turkmen equestrians in the arenas of many countries. This became possible thanks to the large-scale activities carried out by the state to develop and popularize national culture and art in the world in general.
The joint program of the “Galkynysh” National Equestrian Games Group, artists of the Gorogly State Equestrian Circus of Arkadag and the State Circus of Turkmenistan, presented to the audience in the building of “Türkmeniň ak öýi” in the Daşoguz velayat, was, as always, full of colorful numbers.
In the first part, the artists demonstrated their skills in performing acrobatic stunts, juggling, clowning, equilibristics, and animal training. Bright costumes, music, lighting, and a successful combination of acrobatics and dance movements created the atmosphere of a fairy-tale performance. Young artists, such as Resul Serdarov, who juggles clubs, balls, and rings, demonstrated a high level of circus art. One of the memorable numbers was Arslan Kurraev's performance, skillfully balancing at height on reels. The audience was also charmed by trained monkeys, dashing on ponies, riding scooters, catching hoops.
And, of course, the main number of the colorful program was the performance in the second part of the artists of the “Galkynysh” National Equestrian Games Group, which local residents were waiting for with special excitement and interest.
Established in 2007 on the initiative of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov “Galkynysh” group is the winner of a number of prestigious international awards, including the Gold Award and special prizes of the International Circus Festival in Monte Carlo.
As the equestrian group artists note, the distinctive feature of their performances is the execution of tricks at high speed. And here their indispensable assistants, providing dizzying speed, are the incomparable Ahalteke horses.
And now the equestrian artists have amazed the public with their riding skills, high professionalism, precision of actions, fearless performance of complex numbers, and close-knit team actions.
The exciting equestrian attraction with acrobatic and gymnastic tricks, trick riding and vaulting, elements of high school horse riding were invariably accompanied by enthusiastic applause from the audience. They admired the artists riding horses in a "live" pyramid, skillfully jumping off the Ahalteke horses rushing like a whirlwind and finding themselves back in the saddle, performing a crawl at full gallop under the horse's belly. The audience's sympathy was aroused by the stallion Garadag, who demonstrated the ability to move on his hind legs, and the golden stallion Gadamly, who understood all the trainer's commands. The bright performance of the “Galkynysh” group clearly demonstrated the continuity of national traditions of horse riding, trick riding and equestrian games, the desire to develop and enrich them.
“This is not the first time we have performed in this wonderful complex,” speaks seyis - the head of the “Galkynysh” National Equestrian Games Group, honored horse breeder of Turkmenistan S. Pygyev. Every time we visit, we are pleased with how, thanks to the efforts of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the care of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, along with other cities of the country, Dashoguz is being transformed. In our performances, we strive to please the public with complex numbers, including new ones. As for our immediate plans, this includes mastering and carefully practicing new games, even more complex tricks and elements, training young members of the Group and preparing for performances both in our country and abroad.
It remains to add that the performance also included artists from the velayat combined dance group “Dessan”, who performed choreographic numbers.
