Today, the opening ceremony of the IV International Internet Olympiad in English among students of linguistic and non-linguistic higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan and foreign countries took place at the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Dovletmammet Azadi.

About 2,000 students from 250 higher education institutions in 43 countries are taking part in the Olympiad, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent Neutrality and the International Year of Peace and Trust.

During the opening ceremony of the international Olympiad, professors and teachers of higher educational institutions of foreign countries spoke via digital video link. Their speeches emphasized that the Olympiad is of great importance for the development of students' language skills, the education of a young generation of linguists distinguished by a broad outlook and progressive thinking, as well as the strengthening of scientific, educational, friendly and fraternal ties between countries of the world.

The participants of the opening ceremony of the Olympiad expressed deep gratitude and appreciation to the Hero Arkadag and the esteemed President of our country Arkadagly Hero Serdar for the wide opportunities provided for fruitful study, comprehensive development, achieving high results and demonstrating talents and abilities at the world level.
