For the first time, the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages became the venue for the XXXII International Scientific Conference of Students, Postgraduates and Young Scientists "Lomonosov", which was held at the university from April 11 to 12.
The work of the international conference site in Turkmenistan was organized in two sections: "Teacher education and modern educational technologies" and "Theory, history and methodology of translation".
Scientific presentations on topical issues of linguistic pedagogy and translation studies were heard during the sections. The best reports were awarded with diplomas and corresponding certificates.
Within the framework of the forum, the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages hosted a round table on the topic "The role of educational technologies in teaching foreign languages", as well as an exhibition "Inseparable Unity: Language and Culture".
Following the conference, a collection of theses of the forum participants is expected to be published.
The event, organized by Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov together with the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Dovletmammet Azadi opened a new page of cooperation between the two countries in the field of science and education. A similar format of international cooperation has been implemented in our country for the first time.
It should be noted that the International Conference is being held from April 11 to April 25 at Lomonosov Moscow State University as part of the International Youth Scientific Forum Lomonosov-2025. The large-scale scientific conference will be held at regional venues in the Russian Federation, as well as at branches of Lomonosov Moscow State University in Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and China. This year's conference includes 43 sections reflecting all the main directions of modern fundamental and applied science.
The main purpose of the "Lomonosov" conference is to develop the creative activity of students, postgraduates and young scientists, to involve them in solving urgent problems of modern science, to preserve and develop a unified international scientific and educational space, and to establish contacts between future colleagues.
