Recently, the next guest of the students of the Faculty of International Journalism of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan was the experienced journalist Bekdurdy Amansaryyev. The most relevant topic was chosen for the conversation-lesson - interviewing interlocutors.
At the beginning of the lesson, B. Amansaryyev told the students about the many types of interviews as a journalistic genre. He also dwelt in detail on some of the differences in the interview genre when preparing material for broadcast on television and radio and in print media.
Moving on to questions of interviewing on international issues, B. Amansaryyev emphasised the need for professional knowledge, orientation on the topic of the interviewer in the issues discussed with the interlocutor.
During the lesson, students, sometimes, without waiting for the end of the reports on a particular topic, vied with each other to ask B. Amansaryyev questions that were exciting and interesting to them. Many of them concerned the practical work of journalists, including when covering various international events. The answers of the practicing journalist were quite detailed, complete, revealing the main features of the issue raised.

At the end of the meeting, the students almost unanimously expressed the wish for a speedy new meeting with one of the most experienced journalists in the country.
