From April 21 to April 25, a professor at the PETRONAS University of Technology (UTP) conducted an online training for students and young teachers of the Faculty of Oil and Gas at the International University of Oil and Gas named after Yagshygeldi Kakayev.
During the training on "Oil and gas well exploitation technologies", the students received useful information and gained valuable knowledge about innovative technologies and advanced methods currently used in oil and gas production. Special certificates from the PETRONAS University of Technology will be awarded to the participants of the trainings.
International University of Oil and Gas named after Yagshygeldi Kakayev, Malaysian company “PETRONAS Charigali (Turkmenistan) Sdn Bhd” and the Technological University of the Malaysian company “PETRONAS” have been conducting successful and fruitful cooperation in the field of science and education for several years.
Professors and lecturers of PETRONAS University of Technology regularly organize for students and young teachers of the IUOG named after Ya. Kakayev offers online courses and trainings on the introduction of innovative technologies and digital systems used in the oil and gas industry.
The effective partnership continues on the basis of a Memorandum of Understanding signed in order to develop and expand research and educational cooperation between the parties.
Within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding, regular online trainings with a wide range of topics are planned to be held at the Turkmen Oil and Gas University in 2025 under the guidance of several professors from the PETRONAS University of Technology. The trainings will include topics on the oil and gas industry, the economics of the oil and gas industry, the introduction of digital systems, chemistry and processing, ecology and environmental protection.
