A scientific and practical conference "Stages of the historical development of the Turkmen language" was held at the Dovletmamed Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages. It was attended by university professors, doctoral students, postgraduates, scientists and specialists from the Makhtumkuli Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscripts of the Academy of Sciences Turkmenistan.
During the plenary session of the forum, large-scale work was discussed aimed at developing the Turkmen language and literature, preserving the history of the Turkmen language, its present and future, vocabulary, ensuring its transmission to future generations, improving the speech culture of the Turkmen literary language and the Turkmenization of terms. Further, the scientific and practical conference continued its work in two sections: "The historical development of the Turkmen language" and "Stages of the historical development of Turkmen literature".
Scientific reports of the speakers on the history of the formation of the Turkmen language and lexical issues were heard.
the peculiarities of historical feature films, the specifics of the emergence and functioning of neologisms in the Turkmen language as a result of digitalization, the use of modal words in the works of Makhtumkuli Fragi, the history of interlanguage relations between the Turkmen and Persian languages (the Safavid era) in the context of the issues of periodization of the development of the Turkmen language and literature.
At the end of the forum, the participants expressed their sincere gratitude to the country's leadership for creating wide opportunities for improving the field of science and education., a deep study of history, culture, art, national language and literature and the development of international cooperation in this area.
The participants of the event visited a special thematic exhibition organized on the occasion of the conference in the main building of the university.
