From April 26 to May 3, representatives of the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan are on a working visit to the Western-Saxon University of Applied Sciences Zwickau (Germany).

During the visit, the Turkmen guests met with a delegation led by the rector of a German university. During the event, the parties made presentations of universities and discussed plans for further development of cooperation.

At the suggestion of the University of Applied Sciences of Zwickau for students and A lecture on "2025 - the International Year of Peace and Trust" was organized by the teachers of the German university, which was delivered by the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan Kakabai Khojanepesov.

During the visit, the delegation from Turkmenistan was familiarized with the laboratories of the university and the scientific work carried out on their basis.

West Saxon University of Applied Sciences Zwickau or in German the Westsächsische Hochschule Zwickau (WHZ), founded in 1987, is one of Germany's leading technical universities.

Partnership between the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics Turkmenistan and the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences Zwickau was launched in 2016 on the basis of a signed Memorandum of Bilateral Cooperation agreement between the universities.
