Turkmen students successfully performed at the Lomonosov Universiade in Moscow

Students of Turkmen universities were among the winners and prize-winners the Lomonosov Universiade in Linguistics, Regional Studies and Cultural Studies 2025, organized by Lomonosov Moscow State University.

According to the results of the Universiade, 2 winners and 6 prize-winners from Turkmenistan, who have successfully performed in the field of linguistics.

Arslan Mammadov, a student of the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages and Lale Rzagulyeva, a student at Makhtumkuli Turkmen State University.

Four students of the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages:

Guljemal Guijova, Daniela Gerb, Diana Dallakyan and Leyli Ishanova were announced as the winners of the Universiade.

Our prize-winners also include Perman Kyyasov, a student of the Makhtumkuli Turkmen State University, and Yaran Khudaiberdyev, a student of the S.A.Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University.

The winners and prize-winners of the Universiade will be awarded diplomas from Moscow State University named after M.V.Lomonosov. We would like to emphasize that the organizers of the Universiade noted the high level of training and knowledge of the participants from Turkmenistan.

Overall, our country was represented in a major intellectual competition by students from 5 universities. In addition to those mentioned, they include State Medical University of Turkmenistan named after Myrat Garryev and the International University of Humanities and Development.

Students from Turkmenistan are taking part in the Lomonosov Universiade for the third time and consistently show good results. In this tutorial this year, students from our country demonstrated their excellent knowledge of Russian, English, German and French in the competition.

Linguistics is one of the most sought–after areas of the Universiade among students. The intellectual competition is traditionally held in two stages. In the first qualifying correspondence round, participants are invited to write a thesis statement of independent scientific research on linguistics. The second and final intramural round of the Universiade includes assignments in different foreign languages, depending on the chosen one.

Intellectual and creative tasks in foreign languages are a mandatory part of the Universiade. Tasks are given 120 minutes to complete.

In general, the Universiade participants get the opportunity to express themselves widely his abilities in the four areas of the Universiade: "Linguistics"; "Regional Studies of Russia", "Foreign regional studies" and "Cultural studies;

The international show traditionally brings together talented experts in various sciences - undergraduate, specialist, graduate, postgraduate students and young professionals from around the world.

The Lomonosov Universiade is held in order to identify and support talented youth, develop students' creative abilities, promote their professional growth, attract students to continue their studies in graduate and postgraduate studies, improve the performance of talented students at international Olympiads and competitions, and strengthen ties between universities in Russia and other countries the CIS and far abroad.

It should be added that students from Turkmenistan annually and actively participate in various humanitarian Olympiads, organized, among others, prestigious universities in Russia include Lomonosov Moscow State University, Kazan Federal University, St. Petersburg State University, Volga Region State Technological University, the Institute of International Relations at Kazan Federal University, and

others. Having adequately represented the country at international Olympiads, students from Turkmenistan receive high marks from the jury and rightfully deserved awards.

Great and fruitful work in preparing our students for Olympiads in the above-mentioned leading universities of the Russian Federation are conducted by a teacher of the Department of Russian Literature at the Dovletmammet Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages, Maisa Atayeva, who also organizes students' participation in international reviews. So it is this year, an experienced and caring teacher M.Atayeva heads the national team of talented university students Turkmenistan and made a significant contribution to the victory of our students at the prestigious Universiade in Moscow.
