The musical evening, dedicated to the memory of a German composer Johannes Brahms, who passed away 120 years ago, took place in the Bag Hall of the Turkmen National conservatoire. Brahms was born in 1833 in Hamburg in the family of a horn and double-bass player.

Brahms, who he never wrote an opera, worked in all other genres. The programme of the musical event included the instrumental compositions, Hungarian dances, plays, songs, which allowed to fully represent the palette of the composer's creativity.

The choreographic ensemble of D. Ovezov School under the direction of Gozel Hommaeva performed together with the musicians of the conservatoire for the first time. The dancers added the colorful notes into the atmosphere of the evening.

Piano player Bahar Annadurdieva brilliantly performed intermezzo, and also in a quartet with a string trio.

People's Artist of Turkmenistan Gulnar Nuryeva performed Brahms’s compositions - "Maiden Song" and "Under the Rain" under the storm of applause of the spectators.

Famous violinist Ibrahim Orazov masterfully performed an incendiary "Scherzo".

One of the striking numbers of the programme was the famous "Lullaby" performed by Gulnar Nuryeva, Bibidjemal Nuryeva and Bahar Durdyeva.

The leading accompanist was the winner of International competitions Stella Faramazova.

The evening, dedicated to the memory of Johannes Brahms, a German composer of the 19th century, organized by the chamber ensemble, was a pleasant surprise for the music lovers in Ashgabat, who has the opportunity to meet with the charm of the music of the greatest composer, whose mastery, according to Robert Schumann, blossomed in a lush color and became the exponent of his time.
