Ashgabat awards winners of international subject Olympiads

On May 20, the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan hosted a solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of international subject Olympiads, where talented Turkmen schoolchildren worthily represented the country and won medals of various merits.

Three students from our country distinguished themselves at the 25th Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO-2025), held from May 4 to 12 in Dhahran (Saudi Arabia). Myakhriban Kakamuradova, a student of the 12th grade of secondary school No. 5 of the Vekilbazar etrap of Mary Velayat won a silver medal.

The incentive awards were given to Jumadurdy Nuryev, a student of the 11th grade of the Saparmurat Turkmenbashi Ashgabat specialized boarding school, and Dovlet Annamuradov, a student of 11th grade of secondary school No. 43 with in-depth study of exact and natural sciences in Shatlyk, Sakarchage etrap of Mary Velayat.

Well-deserved medals were awarded to Turkmen schoolchildren by their successful participation in the 59th International Mendeleev Olympiad chemistry students, held from 5 to 13 May in Belo Horizonte (Brazil).

According to the results of this Olympiad, students of the Saparmurat Turkmenbashi specialized boarding school in Ashgabat were among the winners: Rustem Dzhumaev, a student of the 11th grade, won a silver medal, Diyar Dovletov, a student of the 11th grade, Aigul Atajanova and Jeren Akmuradova, students of the 12th grade received bronze medals.

At the 3rd Al-Khorezmi International Olympiad in Mathematics and Computer Science, held from May 7 to 13 in Tashkent (Uzbekistan), young talents from Turkmenistan won a total of 12 medals - 1 gold, 3 silver and 8 bronze.

The gold medal in mathematics was awarded to Khemra Gurbanov, a student of the 9th grade of Ashgabat specialized secondary school No. 86 with advanced studies in English, chemistry and biology.

Silver medals were awarded to Yusup Resulov, a 9th grade student. Ashgabat Secondary specialized school No. 87 with advanced language studies, Omar Dovranov, a student of the 9th grade of Ashgabat specialized secondary school No. 83 with advanced study of English, and Kasym Kochekov, a student of the 9th grade of Ashgabat specialized secondary school No. 86 with advanced study of English, chemistry and biology.

The bronze medal winners were Serdar Nazarovezov, Akmurat Akmuradov, 8th grade students, Mekan Dovletyarov, student 9th grade of Ashgabat Specialized Secondary School No. 86 with advanced study of English, chemistry and biology, Yenish Akmammedov, Atabay Akmuradov, 9th grade students Ashgabat secondary specialized school No. 87 with advanced language studies, Azat Nepesov, 8th grade student of secondary school No. 40 of the Eloten Etrap of Mary Velayat, Rovshen Seyitkuliyev, 9th grade student of secondary specialized school No. 29Dashoguz of Dashoguz Velayat and Akmukhammet Shohratgeldiev, a 9th grade student at secondary specialized school No.135 with advanced English studies in Ashgabat. During the award ceremony, the winners of the international subject Olympiads were presented with valuable gifts from the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Makhtumkuli and the Central Council of the Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.

The students of the schools of Turkmenistan expressed their great gratitude and sincere appreciation to Hero Arkadag and the esteemed President of the country Arkadagly Hero Serdar for providing ample opportunities for fruitful study, comprehensive harmonious development and successful participation in prestigious international competitions.
