Ashgabat is preparing to celebrate the 144th anniversary of its founding. Festive events will include concerts, exhibitions, as well as conferences and seminars dedicated to the dynamic development of the city and its impressive achievements in urban planning, culture, and the economy, as well as promising plans for the future.

The main celebrations for Ashgabat City Day will be held on May 24–25.

One of the large-scale events will be the 24th Multidisciplinary International Exhibition and Conference “Ak şäherim Aşgabat,” the opening of which is scheduled for May 24.

On May 24 at 19:00, a concert dedicated to Ashgabat City Day will take place at the “White City Ashgabat” Monument. Popular performers and musicians, as well as dance groups, will perform in the open air of Turkmenistan’s white-marble capital.
