More than nineteen thousand young men and women of the Dashoguz velayat will finish school this year. According to good tradition, ceremonial events and ceremonies of the "Last Bell" will be held for them here.
Over the years of study, graduates have acquired comprehensive knowledge that can largely determine their choice of future professions. Today, the velayat has a wide network of general education institutions with all the conditions for the formation of a highly educated young generation. 530 general education schools are successfully operating here, including dozens of specialized schools with in-depth study of foreign languages. A significant part of general education institutions are modern new buildings built in recent years. The conditions created in them for teachers and students can be seen by the example of the recently built general education school No. 37 in a new residential complex in the city of Dashoguz. It occupies an area of three and a half hectares and is designed for 600 students. On the first floor of the school, in addition to a spacious foyer and classrooms, there is a library, a gym, a canteen, and rooms for labor training for schoolchildren. On the second floor, in addition to classrooms and administrative premises, there are rooms for fine and musical arts, computer science, language laboratories for teaching foreign languages, and an assembly hall with the ability to show various videos on a large screen.
The construction of modern schools in the region continues. Currently, the construction of another comprehensive school for 420 students is being completed in a new modern village, which is being built on the territory of the gengeshlik "Taze yol" of the Koneurgench etrap.
Construction of another school will soon begin in Dashoguz itself. Several more modern general education institutions are planned to be built in the velayat in the coming years.
