Taking the opportunity I would like to mention good dynamics of the cooperation between the UAE and Turkmenistan, which is based on the principles of respect and trust and has reached the level of strategic partnership. Having touched upon the subject of economic cooperation , the UAE Ambassador highlighted that his country is one of five trade partners of Turkmenistan and the volume of trade turnover between two countries continues growing. If back in 2015, it made 1 billion 300 million US dollars, then in 2016, it reached 1 billion 432 million US dollars. At the same time, the share of the UAE export to Turkmenistan made 1 billion 375 million US dollars.
The UAE supports constructive international initiatives of Turkmenistan. High-level UAE delegation took part in the ceremonial opening of the V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, in the work of the VII Regional Economic Cooperation Conference on Afghanistan and in the 28th session of the Energy Charter Conference.
Speaking of the aspect of the development of the UAE, Ambassador Hasan Abdulla Al Adab noted that his country has managed to create the model of the Government administration based on the principles of transparency, responsibility and supremacy of law. President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahayan formulated the strategy of the country development as follows: “We work on the establishment of balanced economic structure based on diversification of the income sources and on the improvement of life level of the citizens”.
In this regard, the Concept of the UAE development until 2021 has been declared, which sets out strategic goals aimed at social harmony, improvement of personal potential, formation of high quality education system, health protection, competitive economy, safe society, fair justice, stable environement, development of infrastructure and growth of the country authority in international arena.
