The CDIO conference brought together teachers, researchers, scientists, and students from around the world to share best practices in the field of engineering education.
CDIO is a worldwide network of cooperation in the field of innovative engineering education, aimed at training new generation engineers. It unites more than 200 universities located all over the world.
The CDIO (Conceptual — Design — Implementation — Operate) initiative is an educational program based on mastering students of an engineering specialty in accordance with the "Plan – Design – Manufacture – Apply" model of real systems, processes and products on the international market.
Monash University, which has become a venue for a major international forum, has been a member of the CDIO Initiative since 2023.
The Australian university has regularly participated in all CDIO international conferences since joining, demonstrating its commitment to improving engineering education through global collaboration and innovation.
Speaking on behalf of Turkmenistan at an international event, the team the Oguz Khan University of Engineering and Technology of Turkmenistan presents its scientific papers and actively participates in the forum together with the broad academic community of CDIO.
The participation of the Turkmen delegation in the conference is primarily aimed at bringing the university's curricula in line with international standards and promoting project-based learning.
Thanks to their participation, the team from Turkmenistan has gained valuable knowledge and experience that will be used to support the efforts the University's efforts to integrate CDIO principles more deeply into its engineering programs.
It should be noted that the Oguz Khan University of Engineering and Technology of Turkmenistan was the first among the universities of Central Asia to be admitted as a full member of the CDIO organization in March 2023.
