Today, as part of the ongoing admission campaign in Turkmenistan-2025, entrance exams to higher educational institutions of the country have started. Acceptance of documents from applicants ended on July 27. The next stage of the campaign is the entrance exams and the enrollment of future first-year students at the locations of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan. According to the approved schedule, the exams will be held on the appointed dates alternately for applicants from Ashgabat, Arkadag and five velayats of the country.
Depending on the chosen specialty or field of study, entrance exams are conducted in certain academic disciplines based on curricula for secondary schools.
Turkmenistan. Exams are taken orally in the official language, except for language subjects that are taken in the appropriate language. Universities in the country offer young people a wide range of specialties and fields of study, the list of which has traditionally been expanded this year. In the new academic year, 7 higher schools of the country will start trains personnel in 13 new areas, which are launched under specialist, bachelor's and master's degree programs.
A joyful and long-awaited event for Turkmen citizens on the Day of Knowledge and Student Youth, marking the beginning of the academic year, will be the opening of a new university in the country - the International University of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
The first international-level graduate school of its kind will accept the first students in the bachelor's degree program and begin their training highly qualified personnel for domestic entrepreneurship in 8 enlarged groups of areas of education. Among them: Architecture; Engineering and construction technologies; Computer Science and Computer engineering; Mechanical engineering; Agriculture, forestry and fisheries; Veterinary and animal science; Economics and Management; Law.
Entrance exams to a new university, which is preparing for its opening, are held in the capital on the basis of the University of Engineering and Technology Turkmenistan named after Oguz Khan. Recall that the admission campaign 2025 is carried out in the country from July 14 to August 25.
