Methodical and practical classes were held for teachers of the Akhal Velayat, organized from August 11 to 13.
The events were attended by teachers in the subjects "History", "Fundamentals of the State and Law of Turkmenistan", "Social Studies", "Cultural Heritage of Turkmenistan", "World Culture" and other subjects from secondary schools No. 17, 19 of the Babadaykhan etrap, No. 14, 16, 17 of the Kaakhki Etrap and No. 41 of the Tejen Etrap.. Methodical and practical classes were held with the active participation of the head of the Main Department of Education of Akhal velayat B.Charlyev and the deputy head of the same department, A. Gurbansakhedov, chief specialists of the Center for Advanced Training of Teachers of State Educational institutions and preschool teachers of the Main Department of Education of the Akhal Velayat. The meeting was also attended by O. Meleeva, Head of the Department of Social Studies at the National Institute of Education of Turkmenistan, and G. Nurieva, a leading researcher at the department.
During the classes, special attention was paid to the upbringing and education of schoolchildren based on spiritual, moral, civic, patriotic, social principles, as well as the principles of a healthy lifestyle. It was mentioned that further work was needed to widely popularize Turkmenistan's rich literary, historical and cultural heritage among young people.
The participants' attention was focused on expanding efforts to encourage students to study science, engage in creative activities, and strengthen the preparation of students for various competitions, Olympiads, and competitions.
They also discussed the implementation of promising tasks in the context of the Concept of improving teaching methods in general education programs in Turkmenistan until 2028. In this regard, the importance of continuous improvement of pedagogical skills, the study and dissemination of the best foreign and national experience, and practical training, the introduction of highly effective modern teaching methods, ensuring interdisciplinary connections, and the development of practical skills and abilities among students.
The meetings with the teachers were organized and efficient.
