On the 23rd of September, a gala reception dedicated to the National day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was held at the «Ýyldyz» hotel in the capital. The event was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, staff of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Turkmenistan, members of the government, and invited guests.
This year, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia celebrates the 95th anniversary of its unification, which occurred in 1932 under the leadership of King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud. This holiday symbolises the country's rich cultural heritage, as well as its commitment to economic diversification and socioeconomic development.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was one of the first countries to recognise Turkmenistan's independence and establish diplomatic relations with it in 1992. Bilateral ties between the friendly states are actively developing in all areas, opening up new opportunities for deepening cooperation.
On the occasion of the Kingdom's National day, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, on behalf of the people and Government of Turkmenistan, and on his own behalf, extended sincere congratulations and best wishes to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, Crown Prince and Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the brotherly people of the country.
