New textbooks have been published in Turkmenistan

The Turkmen state publishing service has published a textbook, «Modeling and graphics», intended for 11th-grade students in comprehensive secondary schools across the country.

The new textbook was prepared by authors K. Udamuradova and E. Amanov.

The textbook is designed to promote the development of design, logical, and creative thinking, interest in engineering and technical work, and invention with the active use of information and communication technologies of students.

The first section of the book is devoted to the concept of a model. The «Modeling» section covers the stages of problem setting, defining characteristics, indicators of objects, and the relationships between them, as well as verifying the results compliance with specified conditions. The «Modeling in a graphical environment» and «Drawing» sections will help students master the process of modeling in a graphical environment, the use of standard geometric tools in modeling, the concept of a drawing and its objects, and tasks for constructing various types of structures.

The content of these sections ensures students are fully familiar with the capabilities of modeling, constructing simple models of objects, using symbols, applying research skills when working with a model, and describing the results obtained.

A new textbook, «Pedagogical psychology», for universities was prepared by the Turkmen national institute of world languages named after Dovletmammet Azady on the recommendation of the Ministry of education of Turkmenistan.

The authors of the textbook, published by the State publishing service of the country, are S. Hudayberdiyev and Ye. Atdayev.

The publication examines in detail issues of children's mental development in the context of everyday life, the educational process, and the educational environment, and also provides specific recommendations regarding the psychological requirements placed on teachers.

The book's pages explain key aspects of the course «Educational psychology», including the origins of pedagogy and psychology as sciences, their role and significance in educational and upbringing work, as well as the scientific potential and practical applicability of these disciplines.

In preparing this manual, the works of foreign and domestic psychologists were taken into account and, to a certain extent, used, in particular V.V. Davydov, L.S. Vygotskiy, S.L. Rubinstein, A.N. Leontiyev, A.R. Luria, as well as well-known Turkmen specialists - B. Basarov, A. Nuhurov, Ye. Atdayev.

This book, intended for students and faculty at the country's pedagogical universities, will also serve as a valuable teaching aid for school and kindergarten teachers, helping them understand the specifics of the discipline, its principles, and teaching and development methods.

At the initiative of the Turkmen national institute of world languages named after Dovletmammet Azady, a Module Exams Guide has also been developed for university students studying English.

The book contains tests with answers that comply with the CEFR standards—the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, developed by the Council of Europe to standardise the assessment of language competence. The teaching material is based on the fourth edition of the Oxford English File and covers key issues arising in the study of grammar, vocabulary, and oral communication.

This new book by Myrat Malikov, recommended by education experts, will be a reliable aid for university students and all English language learners preparing for exams.
