In the near future, residents of Azerbaijan will be able to experience the rich and unique culture of the Turkmen people. This was announced by the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, in his speech at the 12th Summit of the Heads of State of the Organisation of Turkic States (OTS).
Hero-Arkadag emphasized the special role of cultural and humanitarian spheres within the OTS's relations, cooperation in which is of paramount importance for the preservation, development, and promotion of the unique national characteristics and spiritual values of the Turkic peoples.
«We propose strengthening measures to hold joint cultural events. In particular, we are doing much to organise Culture Days, theatrical performances, various exhibitions, and film screenings. We intend to hold Turkmenistan Culture Days in Azerbaijan soon», – the National Leader of the Turkmen People said.
