On October 10, 2025, an International Forum was held at UN Headquarters in Geneva. It was organized by the Permanent Mission of Turkmenistan to the UN Office at Geneva jointly with the Geneva Center for Neutrality (GCN) and the Greater Caspian Association (GCA). About this reports MFA of Turkmenistan.

The event was attended by over 300 participants, including diplomats, politicians, representatives of international organizations, heads and representatives of missions accredited in Geneva, mass media, academics, and students of institutions of higher education.

The Forum provided a large-scale platform for discussing neutrality as a strategic approach in the face of contemporary global challenges.

The Director-General of the UN Office at Geneva Tatyana Valovaya was the keynote speaker at the Forum.

The program of the Forum consisted of three sessions: “Neutrality in the Modern World – Diplomatic Approaches to Maintaining Stability and Trust”, “The Economic Dimension of Neutrality – Its Role in Shaping the Investment Climate”, as well as “Neutrality and Technology – Regulating Artificial Intelligence and Digital Security”.

Participants emphasized that in the 21st century, neutrality is becoming an increasingly important tool for sustainable development, international dialogue, and trust.
