On August 28, 2026, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a conference dedicated to the socio-political significance of the upcoming meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, planned for September 23, 2026, as well as to the United Nations General Assembly resolution entitled “2028 - International Year of Law,” adopted upon the initiative of Turkmenistan.
