Based on the primordial humanistic traditions and principles of the ancestors of the Turkmen people, on the basis of friendly, fraternal and good neighborly relations, as well as in order to continue the positive experience of noble humanitarian activity, providing humanitarian assistance to the fraternal people with the assistance of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care Afghanistan in May 2023, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Decree in accordance with which the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection, the Ministry of Textile Industry, as well as the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of the country were ordered to transfer appropriate medicines and medical supplies to the Afghan side free of charge , goods and food products as humanitarian aid.

Respecting the unprecedented heroism shown on the fields of battle by participants of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, selflessness of grey-haired mothers, who worked at that time on the home front, considering their noble work for education of the younger generation in the spirit of patriotism, heroism, bravery, strengthening of unity and cohesion of our people, merits in successful realisation of cardinal transformations carried out in the country and also on the occasion of the 78^th anniversary of the Great Victory, the President of Turkmenistan has signed the Decree, having instructed khyakimliks of velayats, cities and etraps to present veterans of war with cash gifts in the amount of 200 manats and costly presents on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan in honour of the 78^th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 in the solemn atmosphere.

Guided by the principles of mercy and humanism bequeathed to us by our great ancestors, in order to further strengthen the unity and cohesion of the Turkmen society and every family, as well as on the occasion of the sacred Gadyr gijesi, the President of Turkmenistan, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed the Decree «On pardon in honour of the sacred Gadyr gijesi of convicted persons», releasing those pardoned from further serving the main punishment in the form of deprivation of liberty.
