The Ramsar Convention – 50 years of international cooperation to preserve biodiversity
The Ramsar Convention – the Convention on Wetlands of International Importance, especially as Waterfowl Habitat was signed 50 years ago, on February 2, 1971. The Ramsar Regional Center – East Asia (RRC-EA) was adopted in 2016.

Davis Cup Event to Take Place in Ashgabat
In accordance with a Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Sport and Youth Policy has been authorized to hold the Davis Cup event (which was previously due to take place on June 8-15, 2020) at the Tennis Complex, Ashgabat Olympic Park on September 6-12, 2021 in collaboration with the Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan and the International Tennis Federation.

Session of the UNESCO National Committee of Turkmenistan
Regular session of the UNESCO National Committee of Turkmenistan has been held in the Foreign Ministry on January 30 at the request of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
