The lineup for the Women’s Higher League of the Turkmenistan Chess Championship 2026 has been determined
Eight players will compete in the Higher League for the title of Women’s Chess Champion of Turkmenistan. The championship will take place in Ashgabat from February 2 to 11 and will be played as a double round-robin tournament.

FIFA expert highly praised the development potential of football in Turkmenistan

The winners of the Davis Cup zonal tournament played for the Turkmenistan Cup
72 athletes (47 men and 25 women) from the Ahal, Dashoguz, Lebap, Mary regions and Ashgabat gathered for the Turkmenistan Tennis Cup, which concluded on the courts of the multifunctional sports complex of the Turkmen state institute of physical education and sports. The tournament, organised by the State committee for physical culture and sports and the Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan, was timed to coincide with the 30th anniversary of neutrality of our country.
