The final round of the «Arkadag Serdarly ösüşlere beslenen Watanyň bagtyýar zenanlary» competition was held at the Centre for public organisations of Turkmenistan. Women working in the banking sector who won the preliminary rounds participated. The competition was organised by the Central bank of Turkmenistan jointly with the Central Council of Union of the women and the National centre of trade unions of Turkmenistan.

The competition was timed to coincide with the International year of peace and trust, the 34th anniversary of independence of Turkmenistan, the 30th anniversary of our permanent neutrality, and the 32nd anniversary of the introduction of the national currency, the manat. Its goal was to modernisze the national banking system, introduce new types of banking services, and highlight the talents and abilities of women working in this sector. 

In the first stage, entitled «Hünärim bar – hormatym bar», participants had to talk about the achievements and successes of banking sector of our country, as well as the work carried out based on the current «State program for the development of the banking system of Turkmenistan for 2011–2030». In the second stage, entitled «Halkara parahatçylyk we ynanyşmak ýylynyň we milli bank ulgamynyň gazanan ösüşleriniň waspyny etmek», participants had to perform a song, destan, or poem. And in the final stage, entitled «Türkmen halkynyň myhmansöÿer saçagy», they were required to set a festive table and describe the process of preparing national dishes.

Participants from the Ahal and Lebap regions and the city of Arkadag took third place, representatives from the Balkan region and the city of Ashgabat took second place, participants from the Mary region took first place, and a representative from the Dashoguz region received the Grand Prize.

The event organisers presented the winners and runners-up with certificates of honour and valuable gifts. The official part of the competition concluded with lively songs from pop singers.
