The Turkmen State Institute of Finance continues accepting applications for participation in the II Open International Olympiad on “International Financial Reporting Standards” (IFRS) for students of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan and foreign countries.

Applications may be submitted until December 10 by sending information about the participating students to the institute’s email address: info@tdmai.edu.tm.

No more than four students from each university may take part in the Olympiad, regardless of their major or field of study.

The Olympiad will be held on December 17 as an individual online competition. The official languages of the contest are Turkmen, English, and Russian. The event will start at 12:00 local time. Participants will be offered 10 IFRS-related tasks and 120 minutes to complete them.

The jury of the Olympiad will include representatives of universities and scientific-educational institutions from Turkmenistan and other countries.

Participants’ results will be determined based on the total number of points earned and will be published on the institute’s official website, where additional information on the Olympiad and the application procedure is also available. The Open International Internet Olympiad on IFRS is held to identify talented youth, develop their thinking and worldview, deepen theoretical knowledge and improve students’ practical skills in the subject, and to prepare young specialists capable of independently making appropriate managerial decisions and confidently navigating the professional environment.
