On December 6, 2025, a solemn ceremony was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan to award the staff members of the national diplomatic service with jubilee medals «Türkmenistanyň Bitaraplygynyň 30 ýyllygyna» (“To the 30th Anniversary of Turkmenistan's Neutrality”). Addressing the ceremony participants, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov emphasized the significant international events taking place in the country during the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent Neutrality, in particular, the International Forum to be held on December 12 of this year in Ashgabat.
As noted, the country's policy of permanent neutrality has gained international recognition thanks to the concrete and targeted diplomatic efforts of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, and President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
In this context, R. Meredov noted that the diplomatic service of Turkmenistan faces important tasks in further strengthening the authority of Turkmenistan in the international arena, expanding foreign policy dialogue, and promoting initiatives in the interests of global peace and development.
The Minister then read out the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan on awarding the jubilee medal of Turkmenistan «Türkmenistanyň Bitaraplygynyň 30 ýyllygyna» and solemnly presented state awards and commemorative badges to the staff members of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
High awards were presented to Turkmen diplomats who made a worthy contribution to strengthening the state independence and legal status of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality, as well as enhancing the international authority of the Motherland on the world stage.
